Font Specimen – Velathri Serif
BA Design Warm-Up – Foundation Course
2019
semester
Velathri has an old-fashioned flavour: it comes from the historic Times New Roman, from where it then takes on an elegant and sharp twist.
Its lines follow the soft and delicate course of the brush and accompany it to the serif, where it is cut inside.
The result is a character with an elegant appearance but at the same time experienced, consumed by time but preserving its original identity.
It owes its name to the Etruscan city of Volterra, fulcrum of culture and ancient history never forgotten by the timeless charm.
An antique serif to narrate historical events with a mystical and legendary accent.
