The M-72 was a sidecar Motorcycle made by the Soviet Union. It was a replacement for the old and obsolete models used by the Red Army. Russia chose to use as their base model the BMW R-71. The german project was obtained thanks to the rules of the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact, in which the two countries has and equal exchange for assets. The production started at the Moskovskiy Motosikletniy Zavod of Moscow in 1941 until 1960.
