The Swiss designer Rosmarie and Rico Baltensweiler launched the »Guggerli« product range in 1966. These are plastic luminaires made of stand tubes with rounded cut-outs and hot – formed glass ball holders. The freely adjustable glass balls could be equipped with spot or normal incandescent lamps. The product series included the bedside lamp with a single ball, as well as the lighthouse with up to eight lamp positions.
