In 1938 Zsusan Kozma (Budapest, Hungary), re-designed the livingroom of Eugene and Elisabeth Schreiber, comprised of a divan, chairs, this trolley and a number of fitted units. In keeping with modernist principles what was not build-in was easily moved so the room was open and flexible. Zsusan was the daughter of a leading Hungarian architect, she studied furniture design and grafic arts at the Schools of Applied Art in Budapest, Stuttgart and Vienna. The trolley has been displayed at the Victoria and Albert Museum since 1997.
