Barricade is a Serif typeface based on the skeleton of the Hoefler text font. This font has the style of the manuscript used by monks, curious are also the particular serifs that are eccentric but simple like the writing of letterheads. This typeface has different characteristics, thanks to the different typology of serifs. Some serifs are similar to a drop and some are simply inclined but what they have in common are the sides, which are different for every letter and the round corners of the serifs that gives a sense of roundness.
