Design Classic – Nutella Jar (1964)

The Nutella glass was designed by Lelo Cremonesi for Pietro Ferrero. A new glass became necessary after the name was changed from »Supercrema« to »Nutella«, a combination of »nut« and »-ella« (Italian diminutive). The new product was launched on 20 April 1964. Due to its great success, the Nutella glass, has become an iconic product and is still produced almost identically.
