mother’s milk

The artwork is a self-portrait and focuses on the fragmentation of the single personality and its growth (or lack of growth) into different personal and interpersonal non-biological aspects. It is made out of 63 collected Yakult plastic battles, in some of which I planted tiny plants or plant-seeds and some other of the small plastic container has just been filled with soil. The variability and dynamism of the work makes it alive and subject to constant change, from the overgrowth of plants or seedlings to their withering and death, as well as future events and the interpretation of memories that somehow the artwork try to symbolise.
