Model making – Instrument Composition

For this project, with only cartboard and tape, we had to merge two instruments: I choose a mandolin and a french horn.

These two instruments represent and unite two families: the wind instruments and the string instruments. They are intersected in a way you can play both instruments in a balanced way. This kind of mandolin can be played above its hole, that is used to hold the intricate tubes of the french horn, that stretch more that the usual for a more amplified sound.
