The course Digital Design:3D CAD Advanced introduce the students to the most emerging digital design techniques and methods for digital modelling. Aim of the course is to overcome the limitations of the classical CAD software in order to achieve the production and control of highly complex geometries, through digital design experimentation and speculation. The design is integrated with animations and simulation as part of the design strategies and generation of forms. The students will deepen the knowledge of digital design through an integrated system between designer and software, exploring the possibility of design behind the normal representation, providing methods and techniques in which CAD tools become an integrated system with the designer and providing the base for further studies and rapid prototyping.
