About: Propagation station is a designated spot for propagating plants; when you immerse a plant cutting in water, the branch will slowly start growing roots, as well as new leaves, becoming a self-sustaining plant itself. The idea came to me when I accidentally dropped something on one of my houseplants, breaking a couple of its branches. The anger and regret I felt in that moment slowly turned into fascination when, after putting the branches in water to save them, they slowly started growing roots. This silent process reminded me how similar are plants to us humans: always changing and growing even when damaged if you allow them to. By framing the living plants with an illustration of the process of their growth, this work is made to remind how a difficult time can become an opportunity of growth to its viewers, myself included.
