This project was about designing an aluminium vase using a very thin aluminium sheet, quite developed in width and height, but we could choose the shape freely.

After drawing the vase in 3D on Rhino and unrolling all the surfaces, I used aluminium to make the physical version of my creation.

First I printed the unrolled surfaces of the object on rhino so that I could put them on the aluminium sheet and retrace them, then I cutted all the pieces and fold them to get the shape wanted.

You can use my vase either empty or with some long flowers or plants.
