In this assignment we were asked to work with a new material the aluminium sheet. We were supposed to create vases, where we explore shape and surfaces.

I associate flowers with family celebrations where you bring flowers to grandma’s place and eat around the big dinner table. We always have fruit after our family fest dinners, so I wanted to create a vase that displays both the flowers and the fruits.

The vase is tall and quite large, so it has a very big impact and the abstract shape adds a very artistic and avant-garde touch.
