Evolution According to Climate Change

Series of posters depicting a fictional based theory on how the human species could evolve as a consequence  to climate change.
This theory is purely hipothetical, as a result of already existing research, various evolution theories and proven change in animal body parts, behaviour and function, caused by climate change and the overall climate crisis we have been experiencing for the past decade.

Poster nr.1 unfolds the linear theory of evolution globally known and demonstrated by several scientifics and experts over history. However, in this case, the timeline has been expanded till the year 3050 a.D., featuring the proto-human of the future, or the Humanus novus futuris. This last evolution is a consequence of climate change, showinf a transformation of the human body in order to survive and adapt to the new environmental conditions.

Poster nr.2 is based on anatomical studies on the evolved body, showing the single parts of the physique that have changed and the new function they are able to perform. Some of these changes are for example the enlargement of leg, arms and neck extremities; reduction in bone mass; morphological changes in hands and feet to enhance stability and speed; larger lungs and larger nasal turbinates to enable highly polluted-air filtering; as well as the absence of biological gender, for every individual would carry both reproductive organs, which means they would be born with hermaphrodistic genitalia which would enable reproduction among every individual and their chosen partner(s).

Poster nr.3 shows a classical representation of both osteologic and muscular structure studies, referring to how they evolved.

Poster nr.4 portrays the human-environment relationship adapted by the modern species, as a result of drastical temperature changes, extreme pollution and a way warmer atmosphere, including housing, ways of living and the body-soil connection.
