Wo-map è il prototipo di un sito responsive incentrato sulle donne protagoniste del mondo del digital design e delle discipline STEAM (arte, scienza, tecnologia, ingegneria, matematica). Wo-map nasce dalla necessità di dar voce alle figure che spesso vengono lasciate da parte rispetto alla loro controparte maschile, con l’obiettivo di contribuire a contrastare gli stereotipi di genere.
Il sito è pensato per ragazzi tra i 9 e gli 12 anni. Lo scopo del sito è quello di suscitare curiosità e interesse nei più giovani utilizzando la metafora della heatmap per rappresentare la presenza di personaggi importanti di genere femminile nel modo delle STEAM.

Wo-map is the prototype of a responsive site focused on women protagonists of the world of digital design and STEAM disciplines (art, science, technology, engineering, mathematics). Wo-map was born from the need to give a voice to the figures who are often left aside from their male counterparts, with the aim of helping to counteract gender stereotypes.
The site is designed for children between 9 and 12 years old. The purpose of the site is to bring curiosity and interest in younger people by using the heatmap metaphor to represent the presence of important female characters in the STEAM world.
