With rising temperatures and air pollution, life in the city is becoming increasingly difficult for its inhabitants. The introduction of new cycle lanes in the urban environment encourages the use of environmentally friendly transportations to reduce the rate of smog pollution. High temperatures and unexpected climatic events can pose a health risk to cycle lane users. The solution lies in Ivy Oasis,a micro-architecture that offers a space for cyclists to rest and shelter from unfavourable conditions. The structure offers shelter from the sun by providing the possibility of parking the bike and resting on a comfortable bench. In addition, the oasis with its organic pattern accommodates and provides space for the growth of ranpicant plants such as ivy, a plant with a great impact on the cleanliness of the air.
