Fredrik Skåtar
Fredrik Skåtar (1978, Sweden) is a Swedish architect SAR/MSA based in Berlin. Since 2010, his studio (www.skatar.com) creates design objects and architecture, and is also a consultant for algorithmic drawings and production. Fredrik has been a lecturer and researcher since 2012 and has worked at Lund University, Dessau Department of Design and Free University of Bolzano. He is currently adjunct professor at the DIA-Dessau Institute for Architecture. He regularly also conducts lectures, workshops and field trips for companies from the architectural, design and automotive sectors. From 2007-2010, he was a project manager at Studio Olafur Eliasson in Berlin and 2005-2007, he worked for Tema Architects in Sweden. Fredrik Skåtar studied oil painting and sculpture at Wik, Sweden, and architecture, design and urbanism at ENSAPLV in Paris, UdK in Berlin and Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
