Mauro Vincenzo Bubbico
Mauro Bubbico was born in Montescaglioso (Matera) where he lives and works since 1986 as a graphic designer. Among the fields of intervention, he privileges design aimed at social education and environmental sustainability. Over the years his interests, research on spaces, and their inhabitants have led him to the definition of an effective and contemporary graphic language suitable to tell and enhance them to promote human, economic, and cultural development. He is convinced that graphic culture is first and foremost the ability to construct great narratives. He teaches Graphic Design at Isia Urbino, ISIA Faenza, and Abadir in Catania. He is a member of Aiap (Italian Association of Visual Communication Design) and a member of AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationale). As of October 2019, Mauro Bubbico has been appointed as a contract professor and project leader for visual communication within the BA Major in Design at the Faculty of Design and Art of the Free University of Bolzano.
