The course is based on the fictional acquisition by part of the European Union of the Venezuela Pavilion designed in 1954 by Carlo Scarpa in the Giardini of the Venice Biennale. The building is the context within which the students are asked to conceive and design the first exhibition of the EU Pavilion: a (late) entry to the 2021 Architecture Biennale titled “How will we live together?”.
