2021.2

Human existence is based on a threefold relationship, with the world, with others and with ourselves. It is sufficient that one of these three relationships is dysfunctional, to compromise the other two. If the dialogue with the world around us and with other people is spontaneous and easy, it becomes more challenging when it turns introspective. We are not used to determining what “dialogue with ourselves” actually means and it is even more complex when we try to bring together the psycholog- ical language and body language. We live in an oscillating ambiguity between body perception and body image. The project aims to develop an analysis that leads to an honest and personal dialogue with ourselves, with the ultimate goal of finding a balance between the two sides of the scale, be- tween mind and body. An instrument that guides us to understand how the place we were born in and the genetic heritage that identifies us, has had, and still has, an impact on the perception that we have of ourselves.
