Fresh Fruits

One receives the light of our society, the other resides in its darkness. One is acclaimed when it ripens, the other is rejected because it appears rotten. Yet one depends on the other, although finding it repulsive. The other is rich in substance, but one does not value it. One is fed and the other is nourished. Both fuel the same entity and make it grow. Both are sources of pleasure and pain.

“Fresh Fruits” assimilates the two production cycles that lie at the core of individual human activity: the creation of ideas and excrements.

Uno riceve la luce della nostra società, l’altro risiede nella sua oscurità. Uno viene acclamato quando matura, l’altro viene rifiutato perché sembra marcio. Eppure si dipende dall’altro, anche se lo si considera repellente. L’altro è ricco di sostanza, ma uno non lo valorizza. Uno si nutre e l’altro si ciba. Entrambi alimentano la stessa entità e la fanno crescere. Entrambi sono fonti di piacere e di dolore.

“Fresh Fruits” assimila i due cicli di produzione che sono al centro dell’attività umana individuale: la creazione di idee e di escrementi.

Eines glänzt im Licht unserer Gesellschaft, das Andere verweilt in Dunkelheit. Eines wird bejubelt sobald es gereift ist, das Andere abgelehnt durch sein verrottet wirkendes Antlitz. Nichtsdestotrotz hängt das Eine vom Anderen ab, obwohl es das Andere als abstoßend empfindet. Das Andere ist reich an Substanz, doch diese ist für das Eine nicht von Wert. Eines wird gefüttert, das Andere genährt. Beide stellen den Treibstoff für die gleiche Einheit und bringen ihr Wachstum. Beide sind Quellen von Genuss und Schmerz.

„Fresh Fruits“ bringt die zwei Produktionszyklen zusammen, die den Kern der individuellen menschlichen Aktivität bilden: die Schöpfung von Idee und Exkrement.
