This is an illustration created for the book ” 50 year of South Tirolean autonomy statute”, written by Jutta Kustatscher and Wolfgang Mayer. The illustration shows a diverse group of Jews. Two wear the probably most famous symbol in Judaism, the six-pointed star, also called “Star of David”. A young woman holds the Menorah, which is one of the most famous and most used symbols of Judaism, besides the Star of David.  You can also see an orthodox Jew with the typical curls and hat. In the background are two arms waving the Hooked Cross flag, representing the german population.
