From CAD to reality

This time we should work with aluminium. The assignment was to create a digital vase and then build it out of aluminium.

I started by playing around with some shapes on rhino. To print the shapes I needed for the model I unrolled the surfaces on rhino and inserted them in Illustrator. I cut out the shapes of the aluminium and started to fold and roll the shapes together. I used scotch tape to make the model stick together.
