Algä – air purifier

Algä is spin on the old-school lava lamp, that functions as a biological air purifier. Through the process of photosynthesis this algae based scrubber turns CO2 into oxygen. Air passes through the bottle with the aid of an air pump and a bubbler, so that the CO2 can be better absorbed by the algae.

Algä è una variante della ‘Lava lamp’, che è anche un depuratore d’aria biologico. Attraverso il processo della fotosintesi delle alghe contenute in esso, trasforma la CO2 in ossigeno. L’aria passa attraverso la bottiglia con l’aiuto di una pompa ad aria e di un gorgogliatore, in modo che la CO2 possa essere assorbita meglio dalle alghe.

Algä ist eine Variante der “Lavalampe”, die ebenfalls ein organischer Luftreiniger ist. Durch den Prozess der Photosynthese der in ihr enthaltenen Algen wandelt sie CO2 in Sauerstoff um. Die Luft strömt mit Hilfe einer Luftpumpe und eines Bubblers durch die Flasche, so dass das CO2 besser von den Algen aufgenommen werden kann.
