The yellow line of the station’s platform of Bolzano is a recurring element in my daily life. It’s a symbol for protection, it divides and limits. But it also represents the city’s threshold, the line which welcomes or waves goodbye to who goes or comes. With the frottage technique, I reproduced the yellow line on a roll of paper.
When in Palermo, I brought the yellow line to the beach, in front of the sea. For centuries, the city of Palermo has seen many different people coming and leaving, its shore is jut like the station’s platform.
