Arri Plex is a slab serif font inspired by Foundry Gridnik designed by Wim Crouwel in the late 60s for Olivetti, as a single weight typewriter face, but it was never released as a font. My recreation process consists on manipulating the rounded edges, adding asymmetrical elements and rectangular slabs. This font is able to give us a hi-tech perception.
