Designing in a human way.
The new concept of the Bauhaus Museum Weimar intends to communicate to its visitors how and through which ideas and objects the Bauhaus institution modernised society by leading it towards a progress radically detached from what existed before its foundation. The museum seeks to highlight, through its collection, the relevance and potential expressed by the ideals and spirit of the Bauhaus, its masters, its students and their projects. All this is to show that the human creative spirit also resides within the modernist and functionalist design of the Bauhaus, designing in a human way. As a result, the aim of the brand identity is to highlight how the human creative spirit was at the heart of the modernist rationality that characterised the Bauhaus school.
