Bloom – Ceiling Lamp

Bloom is a ceiling lamp that works in tandem with an IR sensor. When the IR Sensor detects a presence inside its range, the lamps on top of the perceived object will start to bloom, lighting up. If the object remains sedentary, Bloom will stay at its highest aperture, whilst if the object is moving the lamps will follow it, opening and closing as it goes.

This is the reason behind the name of the lamp; in fact, if the person were to look up, they would see that wherever they walked, flowers would bloom.

Bloom è una lampada a sospensione da soffitto, che lavora insieme ad un sensore IR. Quando questo sensore rileva una presenza all’interno del suo raggio d’azione, che può arrivare fino a 18m, le lampade al di sopra dell’oggetto percepito inizieranno a fiorire, illuminandosi. Se l’oggetto rimane sedentario, Bloom rimarrà alla sua apertura maggiore, invece se viene monitorato un movimento la lampada è programmata per seguirlo, chiudendosi e schiudendosi nel farlo.

Questo è il motivo dietro al nome “Bloom”; infatti se una persona dovesse guardare verso il soffitto, vedrebbe che ovunque cammineranno sbocceranno dei fiori.

Bloom ist eine Deckenpendelleuchte, die mit einem IR-Sensor arbeitet. Wenn dieser Sensor eine Anwesenheit innerhalb seiner Reichweite von bis zu 18 m feststellt, beginnen die Lampen über dem erkannten Objekt zu leuchten und zu blühen. Bleibt das Objekt unbewegt, bleibt Bloom auf seiner größten Öffnung stehen. Wird jedoch eine Bewegung beobachtet, ist die Lampe so programmiert, dass sie dieser folgt und sich entsprechend schließt und öffnet.

Dies ist der Grund für den Namen “Bloom”, denn wenn man zur Decke hinaufschaut, sieht man, dass überall, wo man hingeht, Blumen blühen.
