Ilyada’s way of using her body in a distinctway started when she didn’t use the painting easel, she tried painting while standing up, rotating then canvas, and sitting on a chair with putting canvas on her lap.

When she worked with big canvases, since she is not that tall, she uses her body to reach different parts of the canvas. When she worked with small to middle sized canvases, she first painted sitting, then laying down, and then sitting on top of her knees, rotating, and moving her body but now the canvas itself.

Every artist has their own unique experience with painting and using different utilities. She likes to use her own body to efficiently use the canvas in her own unique way. When watching her paint and seeing the connection between her form and the forms she drew, could there be a relation between these two?
