Breathe – Portable Asthma Spray

Making the air quality better is a very important task that is especially difficult as every human being is unique. I focused on one group with special breathing problems: asthmatics. As a consequence of air pollution their lungs got so damaged that without medication its hard or impossible to get enough oxygen. Especially during physically exhausting work and sports the body needs a greater amount of oxygen. The problem is that asthma sprays are designed to be stored in a bag or similar but for sure not to be taken along exercising. To increase the oxygen amount for this target group I designed this portable asthma spray, adjusted to the pharma industries dimensions of the medication containers.

Die Verbesserung der Luftqualität ist eine sehr wichtige Aufgabe, die besonders schwierig ist, da jeder Mensch andere Bedürfnisse hat. Ich habe mich auf eine Gruppe mit besonderen Atemproblemen konzentriert: Asthmatiker. Als Folge der Luftverschmutzung wurden ihre Lungen so geschädigt, dass es ohne Medikamente schwierig oder unmöglich ist, genügend Sauerstoff zu bekommen. Besonders bei körperlich anstrengender Arbeit und beim Sport braucht der Körper eine größere Menge an Sauerstoff. Das Problem besteht darin, dass Asthmasprays so konzipiert sind, dass sie in einem Beutel oder ähnlichem aufbewahrt, aber mit Sicherheit nicht beim Sport mitgenommen werden können. Um die Sauerstoffmenge für diese Zielgruppe zu erhöhen, habe ich dieses tragbare Asthmaspray entworfen, angepasst an die Abmessungen der Medikamentenbehälter der Pharmaindustrie.

Migliorare la qualità dell’aria è un compito molto importante, particolarmente difficile perché ognuno ha esigenze diverse. Mi sono concentrato su un gruppo con particolari problemi respiratori: asmatici. A causa dell’inquinamento dell’aria, i loro polmoni sono stati così danneggiati che è difficile o impossibile ottenere abbastanza ossigeno senza farmaci. Soprattutto durante il lavoro fisico e lo sport, il corpo ha bisogno di una maggiore quantità di ossigeno. Il problema è che gli spray per l’asma sono progettati per essere tenuti in una borsa o simili, ma certamente non possono essere portati con sé per lo sport. Per aumentare la quantità di ossigeno per questo gruppo target, ho progettato questo spray portatile per l’asma, adattato alle dimensioni dei contenitori dei farmaci dell’industria farmaceutica.
