The project stems from the theme of food as hospitality and integration.
The challenge is to bring together within the same dish, factors of apparently opposing cultures, but actually compatible. Broadening horizons can allow us to make more conscious choices for ourselves, society and the environment. The new forms of pasta made with edible cricket-based flour will allow a culinary journey into entomophagy and, therefore, into food curiosity as a symbol of openness to the unknown. Beeswax and organic cotton have been used to create reusable packaging for the purchase of pasta in supermarkets, which in the future will no longer have disposable packaging but food dispensers.
