The font I choose is News Gothic created by Morris Fuller Benton (November 30, 1872 – June 30, 1948). It is a sans serif inspired by the grotesque designs of the nineteenth century.
The News Gothic font was used in several fields, for instance in the credits of ” Psycho”, the movie directed by Halfred Hitchock.
In the first and in the second spread it is possible to observe the graphic of Psycho ‘ credits in different dimentions in order to show the characteristics of the font. In the third spread I reported the terrified eyes of the protagonist. In the fourth spread I designed other credits. In the last two pages, it is possible to see the uppercase,lowercase letters, the numbers and the signs.Furthermore, there is a description about Morris Fuller Benton and News Gothic font.
