This book was created thanks to the collaboration with the Tessmann Library, which provided an amazing selection of more than 70 books in different languages.

The original book, whose first English edition dates back to 1896, is here proposed in a brand new version, which entices the reader with sizable illustrations and underlined sections, tempting him to read yet another page, even though it may perhaps be late, or work calls.

The author recounts many of his adventures up the magnificent Dolomites, with breathtaking descriptions of the landscapes he was able to witness and to represent this concept of voyage which is so very important in the book, I decided to design a backpack for the 3D object, giving it unusual measures to fit perfectly in the flight companies regulations regarding the hand-luggages. One of its main features is the possibility to detach the bottom part, which is in fact a camera bag, to travel more lightly. Both parts can be used alone, thanks to the detachable shoulder straps.
