COLORINELLE – Animal design

Colorinelle is a new innovative watercolour kit designed specifically for children. It has a fun shape: it resembles a ladybug! Different versions are available: Colorinelle Classic, inspired in colours to the previously cited insect, and Colorinelle Leafy, inspired by the leaves on which ladybugs usually rest.

This kit when closed is compact, quiet small and easy to be carried around. However, once opened and entire world comes out of it! The wings need to be rotated to open it, an interesting and entertaining feature. There is a plastic coverage that need to be inserted above the tablets; it aims to avoid spilling whether the colours are not completely dried once the kit gets closed up. The tablets are interchangeable, therefore, once one is finished, it can be easily substituted with a new piece. All the different watercolours are inserted into a spinning plastic dish, allowing to easily access to every shade. Positioned in the center is an extractable plastic glass, which once removed and filled with water can just be placed on a table. Last but not least, underneath the core of the ladybug a detachable plate is interlocked; it is the perfect surface onto which colours can be mixed to obtain new nuances.
