Requiem

The project is based on the story of “la Coscienza di Zeno” and consists of a 57-page booklet, the same age at which the protagonist decides to embark on writing his diary of self-psychoanalysis.
The words are not printed on white paper, but on transparent sheets; they overwhelm the pages and have equal visual weight. However, this assertive appearance of theirs is countered by a weakening of the intensity of the words’ color with each page turned. This fragile and confusing appearance is intentional and is meant to represent how the protagonist’s firm resolutions become increasingly routine and thus increasingly vain.
