Lo scopo del progetto è quello di dare forma alla nostra idea di normalità durante il periodo di chiusura. Abbiamo scelto un termine che racchiudesse l’essenza del nostro progetto visivo, nel mio caso questo è ‘costume’. Quest’ultimo ha sia il significato di costume come abitudine o costume, sia come aspetto e modo di presentarsi. I riferimenti per questi autoritratti fotografici sono infatti dipinti noti di vari periodi storici. Le pose e gli elementi sono direttamente basati su quelli dei dipinti ispiratori, ma in una nuova chiave.

The aim of the project is to shape our idea of normality during the lockdown period. We chose a term that would encapsulate the essence of our visual project, in my case this is ‘costume’. The latter has both the meaning of costume as a habit or custom and as an appearance and way of presenting oneself. The references for these photographic self-portraits are in fact well-known paintings from various historical periods. The poses and elements are based on those of the inspiring paintings, but in a new key.
