Der Winter Südtirols

In collaboration with the Teßmann library which offered a variety of historical books, we rethought their design in a contemporary key, starting from the concept of “book as a 3D object” we created an object that was functional and reflected the content of the book.

The book I chose, : “Der Winter Südtirols” is a text from the beginning of the 20 th century that deals with the scope of the South Tyrolean climate and in particular with the sun’s rays and their benefits.I chose to make my book inside an airtight reflective panel, so that it was possible to both reflect light and also shelter from it.
