Design a Tree – Grünschrank

“GrünSchrank” is a device based on the working principles of aquaponics. The device is composed of one fish tank, a few terrariums for the plants and a smart irrigation system that minimizes water waste by keeping the fluids continuously running through the structure in a cyclic fashion.

The most important idea behind the realization of this project is the concept of bringing a functional food garden inside our homes. To make healthy, biological home grown products a vastly commercialized reality that is not only affordable but also convenient.
