Garbage is a human invention. We are the only creatures that pollute the environment with things that are detrimental to other creatures. What plants and animals produce is always useful somewhere else.

When you go shopping you get more plastic than food, the food is taken out and the garbage is not cared about. In many areas of everyday life it goes like this. The garbage is ignored and ends up among other things in the sea. One reason for this way of dealing with garbage is the lack of education in dealing with garbage. A large role plays also role models, which need humans, also these are only scarce.

How much garbage has actually already landed in the sea is at best only an extrapolation, according to which there are now between 100 and 150 million tons of garbage in the oceans.

But as little as we know about the exact amount of plastic waste in the sea, the effects of plastic on marine life are also unexplored. What is certain is that it has a negative impact on the underwater habitat. The question is where should the trash go and what will become once there is no more room?

A deep research about trees and their phenomena made us realize how much we can learn from them. Among other things, how we can protect nature from us with the help of trees.
