Design Classic – Adidas football boots (1954)

The Miracle of Bern: At the 1954 World Cup, the football boots with interchangeable studs adapt to the ground conditions. While the opposing team’s shoe doubled its weight to up to 1.5 kilograms, the Adidas shoes only carried 700 grams. The victory was Adidas’ break- through. The soccer shoe worn in Bern, was called World Champion from then on. The three stripes on the side were originally used for stabilization.

Der in Bern getragene Schuh heißt von da an – Weltmeister. Die drei Streifen an der Seite, dienten ursprünglich der Stabilisierung.
