Pietro Papetti – Baby Faemina – 1957
This first coffee maker produced by the Italian company Faema made it possible to have a coffee like that of the bar at home. Extremely simple, manual pressure: the boiling water was inserted into the filter holder and pressed through the coffee powder by lowering the two levers, with a movement similar to that of a corkscrew.
