In 1915, Coca Cola asked to different companies to create a new packaging that even in case of breakage, a person can recognize it. The Root Glass Company satisfed the request. They chose an illustration of a cocoa bean and made it their subject of inspiration. The original design started from the cocoa bulb and from its vertical grooves.
