The Dansette is one of the most famous British turntable producers of the 1960s. The models were created by Samuel Margolin in the 1950s. The record player can stand on its removable tapered legs or can be placed on a tabletop. For easy transport it can be closed by the clasps on its side and it can be carried by a handle. In the 1950s and 1960s at least one million Dansette have been sold in the the UK and became an iconic Design.
