semester
After World War II, there was a shortage of food in Japan. So as a solution to face this problem in 1958 Momofuko Ando; president and founder of the Nissin Company, made the first ever Instant Ramen. Noodles are processed by oil frying at high temperatures, removing moisture in the process. This phase restrains and kills bacteria. This, together with the presence of natural Vitamin E from soybean that prevents oxidization, preserves the obtained Instant Noodles naturally, (without adding any preservatives) giving to the final food product a long shelf life.
