Design Classic – Duralex (1954)

The Duralex is a company famous for the high quality and resiliance of its materials, especially for the production of its classic annealed glass tumbler. Its unique tempered glass has been heated to around 700°C and suddenly cooled by cold air ventilation. This treatment makes it 2.5 times stronger than normal annealed glass and endurable of a thermal shock of 130°C so that it can easily move from freezer to microwave.
