Design Classic – Alessi Record Watch (2000)

This wrist watch was published in 2000 by the italian brand »Alessi«. Achille Castiglioni designed the »Record Watch« to be easy to read, but yet iconic. His friend and graphic designer Max Huber created the dial art work. The Watch itself is made out of stainless steel and can be entirely removed from the band, due to its unique construction.

Die Armbanduhr wurde im Jahr 2000 von der italienischen Firma »Alessi« veröffentlicht. Achille Castiglioni entwarf die »Record Watch« so, dass sie einfach zu lesen und doch ikonisch ist. Sein Freund und Grafikdesigner Max Huber designte das Ziffernblatt. Die Uhr ist aus rostfreiem Stahl gefertigt und kann durch die einzigartige Konstruktion vollständig vom Armband entfernt werden.

L’orologio da polso è stato pubblicato nel 2000 dalla società italiana »Alessi«. Achille Castiglioni ha progettato il »Record Watch« per essere facile da leggere e allo stesso tempo iconico. Il quadrante è stato disegnato dall’amico e grafico Max Huber. L’orologio è realizzato in acciaio inossidabile e la sua costruzione unica permette di estrarlo completamente dal cinturino.
