The Bow Chair was designed in 1963 by Grete Jalk, a Danish designer for the Daily Mail Furniture competition.
The chair involves a highly complex method of production, and is a great example of her sheer technical daring and experiments with form and moulded plywood.
The chair was bought by the Museum of Modern Art in New York where it has remained until this day
