The collaboration with the Teßmann library gave the possibility to chose one historical book and re-create its design in an experimental and typographical way. An object with a functional and/or aesthetic purpose was necessary to create the final composition/look of the book.
The book is from Meran of 1924 and it’s named “Die Weinbereitung”. Through this book it’s explained the steps and ways to produce each type of wine. With this book I decided to create a demijohn that can store the book inside of it. The object is made with the help of the glassblower Tommaso Colesanti and Vetro Ricerca.
