DOLOMITEN STRONGHOLD – The last untrodden alpine peaks

This is a re-edition of the historical book ‘Dolomite Stronghold’ written by J. Sanger Davies. The book is designed to have a more modern layout and style. The narrow format allows it to fit easily into an external pocket of a mountain backpack. On the back, I have ironically inserted a carabiner that allows it to be attached to a climbing harness, to read it on the wall.

The book is about the author’s conquest in the 1880s of the last unclimbed peaks in the Dolomites: the Croda da Lago, the Tre Cime, the Fünffingerspitze, the Lankofel, Campitello and the Cinque Torri Rocks.
