e-Movere – future mobility experience.

e-Movere. Mobility experience. Phisical and emotional movement led by technology.

The starting point of this project was the restart of the ticket machines. The purchase of a travel or access ticket is often a daily and essential action, which takes place in public places, sometimes in stressful situations and tight schedules. Thanks to new technologies, it is no longer necessary to use public vending machines to obtain tickets: you can do it digitally on your private device, even in advance or away from the area of use. Comfort and speed, however, will not be the only needs of society in the future.

So my focus shifted on sharing, exploration, experiencing in places of transit. The importance of community feeling and the physicality of things made me reflect on a possible combination between technology and humanity. I then focused on two main levels of mobility experience (practical and emotional) and developed a new system of communication. e-Movere, with its integration between a set of e-ink screens and an innovative technological system, enhances info mobility and way finding both inside and outside the station and enables a subtle but meaningful human interaction.
