Eclisse – Vico Magistretti

Eclisse, designed by Vico Magistretti is a table lamp, with direct or diffused light. The concept derives from the astronomical phenomenon the moon eclipse, which is reflected in Vico Magistretti’s design, not only in the name, but also in the formal and technical characteristics of the lamp itself. Formed by very simple shapes, it is composed of 3 hemispheres: base, fixed outer shell and movable inner shell. The Lamp is one of the most important industrial design products of the 20th century and has become one of the Italian design symbols in the world. Eclisse is an avant-garde balance between form and function, design and utility.
